Eric Jameson

Capt. Eric Jameson, USAF (Ret.) is a pioneering leader in drone and unmanned aerial system (UAS) integration, currently serving as the Business Development Manager for Drone Solutions at Almo, a DCC Technology global distribution company. He launched the groundbreaking commercial drone program over a decade ago—establishing the first trade-only distribution model in the sector—and has since partnered with numerous UAS manufacturers to deliver innovative solutions across enterprise, government, and public safety markets. Eric brings a uniquely grounded perspective—shaped by firsthand experience with both the successes and setbacks of startups and major industry players—that has helped grow the category to nearly $30 million annually, with projections to surpass $50 million within the next two years.  Notably, this growth is driven entirely by commercial demand through resellers and integrators in the channel.

With over 25 years of experience in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR)—including 22 years as a highly decorated Intelligence Officer—Eric brings extensive operational expertise to the forefront. He served in multiple combat zones providing direct operational intelligence support,  and as a Mission Intelligence Coordinator (MIC) for MQ-1B Predator combat missions—integrating real-time intelligence into strike operations and tactical decision-making. Eric is the author of the original Concept of Operations for Non-Traditional ISR (NT-ISR) adopted by the USAF as a mission set and earned the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for his contributions during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Following his military career, Eric led ISR and UAV initiatives on major defense contracts, including work with JIEDDO and the establishment of Saudi Arabia’s ACOC. He has served as the CTO of a UAV surveillance firm, taught at Unmanned Vehicle University, and is a founding member of CompTIA’s Drone Advisory Council. A respected global speaker and strategist, he continues to shape the future of the drone industry through vision, leadership, and innovation.
