Edward Cormier

Edward Cormier is a STEM professional with over 25 years of experience supporting mission-critical operations across the US Navy, Department of Defense and now with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). His career has focused on power generation systems, integration of new technologies within complex federal environments. At the FAA, he has been actively involved in advancing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) integration specifically with colleges and universities as the Program Manager for the UAS Collegiate Training Initiative (UAS-CTI). He works to strengthen partnerships between government, academia and industry, helping to develop the next generation of UAS professionals and align workforce development with national aviation priorities. Edward brings a practical, government-informed perspective on safely scaling drone operation education in the national air space (NAS).
